AgeRocks
AgeRocks is led by experts at the intersection of gerontology, public policy, communication, accessibility, caregiving, and aging innovation.
Inspired by lived caregiving experience, our work began with a practical question: how can older adults experiencing cognitive or sensory changes remain safer, more confident, and more oriented in the places they call home
Through firsthand experience supporting a loved one living with vision loss and Alzheimer’s disease, Dr. Fletcher developed a deeper understanding of the daily navigation challenges that affect older adults and the caregivers who support them. That experience informs AgeRocks’ approach to aging-in-place solutions that combine memory-support strategies, universal design, tactile cues, caregiver training, and technology-enabled support.
Today, AgeRocks helps families, agencies, providers, and communities translate aging-related challenges into practical, scalable solutions that support safer navigation, reduce caregiver burden, and strengthen systems of care.
